Job Description:

New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is seeking an HR Specialist/Recruiter with the passion and experience to help grow our clinics by finding amazing and talented folks to help support our mission of providing compassionate care ensuring the best outcomes for our incredible patients. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and partner with an established HR Team to support and advance the goals of the largest physician-owned medical oncology practice in Northern New England.

We are seeking candidates with the knowledge and proven track record to successfully manage the full recruiting cycle; from creation of job descriptions, managing ATS systems, tracking and vetting applicants, scheduling in person and virtual interviews, networking and connecting with various candidate sourcing outlets like Indeed, LinkedIn, colleges, and career schools to partnering for a smooth onboarding experience. The successful candidate will be comfortable in working in conjunction and cooperation with internal leaders across all levels of the organization.

This position is a hybrid role, primarily remote with the ability to travel to any of our 4 locations (Scarborough, ME, Topsham, ME, Kennebunk, ME, or Portsmouth NH) to support onsite interviews and shadows as needed.

This position is full-time (32 hrs) and includes a competitive compensation and benefits package, professional development, generous PTO, and an annual bonus program.

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years HR experience with multi-state locations.
  • 2+ years full cycle recruiting experience.
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of passive and active recruiting techniques as well as employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems
  • Initiative-taker with a strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and drives results.
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills with a strong adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency.
  • Professional presence; exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to act with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with multiple levels of management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various levels within the organization.
  • Projects a professional image and demeanor at all times.
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience using behavioral-based selection tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis to all NECS locations.
