$3000 in sign-on bonuses for experienced Certified Medical
Assistants!!
New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is growing! We are
currently seeking full-time Clinical Administrative Medical
Assistants in our Topsham Clinic. The Administrative MA
will support our patients and clinical teams by assisting with chart
prep, education materials, care plans, answering basic patient
questions, and more. They will work closely with Nurse Navigators in
our physician team models to assure prompt and efficient patient
care. They will be cross-trained with our Clinic MAs to offer
flexible coverage when needed. The ideal candidate would be willing
to travel to our Scarborough location two days per week. This
position is eligible for a sign on bonus paid out after 90
days of employment up to $3000 *** Current and former
employees are not eligible.

Job Duties:
The Administrative MA Is responsible for performing
administrative duties for assigned teams and tumor groups including
but not limited to.

Prepping visit charts for clinic and telehealth appointments.

Printing educational materials and care plans as directed by
the provider teams.

Printing Medical Certificates as proscribed by providers.

Scanning, printing, and faxing required documents.

Triaging dashboard calls and resolving per established workflows.

Conducting oral adherence calls as directed.

Obtaining prior authorizations for non-chemotherapy medications.

Completing Disability/FMLA paperwork for patients

Assisting in managing patient referrals for testing and other
types of visits.

Actively participating in team meetings

Following standard and practice HIPAA guidelines.

Help team Nurse Navigators, PCC’s, and Clinic MA’s as needed.
Weekends: Participation in the weekend Urgent Care
Rotation Required 3-4 times per year, this is done out of our
Scarborough, ME clinic. from 9-1 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Travel: Travel to our Scarborough
Clinic 3-4 weekends per year for coverage of our urgent care clinic.
