Job Description:

New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) seeks a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our highly successful and growing private practice. The candidate will be Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology and trained in Internal Medicine with fellowships in Hematology and Oncology. This position is full-time with partnership track and includes a generous compensation and benefits package.

New England Cancer Specialists is a private practice opened in 1967 and a member of the Dana Farber Cancer Care Collaborative. NECS is the region’s largest private Oncology/Hematology practice serving the the New England region from four locations in Maine and New Hampshire. Each physician leads a dedicated care team comprised of an advance practice provider, oncology nurse navigator, patient care coordinator, and a medical assistant. Our team approach ensures that we can give comprehensive and personalized care to each patient. NECS is honored to be one of 12 practices nationwide, and the only in Maine, to be accredited as an Oncology Medical Home by the Commission on Cancer. We have focused our practice with one goal in mind: to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Our clinical trials program is one of the top programs in Maine and we offer leading-edge protocols and drug treatments. As an independent Oncology group, we are free to collaborate with other top cancer and hematology specialists at treatment and research facilities across the US.
